Berg Island Enterprises is a commercial fishing operation that was started in the late 30's by my grandfather
(Sulo), then taken over by my
father (Edwin) and
mother (Elaine)
who are still involved with the operation today, so we have a lot of stories and
history to share with you. (Read the third
generation story to learn about our history and our operation)

| This third generation commercial fishing
operation now offers tours for people who want to learn and experience what commercial
fishing is all about as you become involved in the operation for the day. This will be a
”Reel” adventure
like you have never seen before. We will be taking you back in time and you will become
involved in the rich heritage of Manitoba's Parkland Region. Which is in a unique setting on one
of Canada's largest inland bodies of water (Lake
Manitoba which is 4791.5 square kilometers).
We will explore areas that only very experienced guides know about
after many generations of information and learning. |
